Biography

Kelsey Shein knows recovering from the COVID pandemic is going to be a huge challenge for Canada.

We need to get it right. We need people with the experience and passion of Kelsey Shein working for us to ensure we do.

Kelsey was raised in and shaped by British Columbia. She is a proud member of Métis Nation BC. She cut her political teeth volunteering at the grassroots level at UBC Okanagan in Kelowna. She moved to Ottawa and continued her journey in politics, still working for British Columbians in her role on Parliament Hill, before joining the Canadian Medical Association as a member of the Political and Grassroots Advocacy team, working with physicians across the country.

Kelsey has spent years managing her family’s North Vancouver small business. The Sheins were founding members of the Lower Lonsdale Business Association and advocated to the City of North Vancouver for the development of the Shipyards District.

She always maintained her passion for politics and the opportunity to change lives for the better. Over those years, she has become adept at collaborative policy making, grassroots engagement, and data driven advocacy.

Here in Burnaby North-Seymour, Kelsey is our Conservative candidate for the coming federal election. She brings the skills she acquired through these small business and political experiences, and her passion, to serve our community.
