Biography

Sabrina is a long-time resident of Toronto with a professional background in education and business. Sabrina taught Biology and Chemistry in the TDSB and in adult education. As an entrepreneur, she created and ran an ESL school and later a private career college. Sabrina holds a BS in Biology and Chemistry, an MEd in Education, and a PhD in Higher Education.

As an active community volunteer, Sabrina helps with organizations such as Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), served as the Vice Chair of the Board of the Breast Cancer Society of Canada and chaired two TDSB School Councils. She currently sits on the Board of Trustees for the McMichael Canadian Art Collection.

Sabrina and her husband, Juan Carlos Zuniga-Pflucker, a scientist and professor at the University of Toronto, have raised two children: Nicolas, a civil engineer, and Riley, a data analytics student.

Dr. Zuniga believes strongly in the future of Canada under a Conservative government and seeks to parlay her drive and energy into working for the residents of Don Valley North.
