Reasons to Run this Election

Someone has to be willing to stand for Charter Rights and Freedoms and a Safe, Secure, Stable and Sovereign Canada.

Messages to Constituent

Dear Neighbours,

My name is Jay Sobel.

I am your People’s Party of Canada Candidate for Don Valley North in 2021.

I am running to be your Member of Parliament because I believe in the founding principles of the PPC:

Individual Freedom,
Personal Responsibility,
Fairness, and
Respect!

These principles are needed now more than ever during these tumultuous times when enshrined Charter Rights and Freedoms are being ignored.

Right now, here in Canada, we are being socially engineered and our Charter Rights and Freedoms are in a rapid free fall descent.

Some of our neighbours are being marginalized, ostracized, and condemned unfairly with fascist and unethical threats that come directly from the Office of Prime Minister of all places; and threaten their abilities to earn a living and provide for their families; concerns we all share!

I know of no government that has restored rights and freedoms once they were stolen!

Justin Trudeau, the part-time drama school teacher, no disrespect to part-time teachers I am one now as well, and the journalist Chrystia Freeland have both publicly declared that "the global pandemic is an opportunity to re-imagine Canada" ! As what? A totalitarian member state of the corrupt United Nations?

I am a first generation Canadian from two Eastern European immigrant families.
My wife is from China.
My families came to Canada with hopes for a brighter future.
That future did not include living under totalitarian authority that had been previously fled.

Financially, our nation is in dire straits!
There is no international debt forgiveness program for owing over 1.1 trillion dollars.
If inflation and interest rates rise, which foreign creditors will own our natural resources?

I remain your candidate of choice in what will surely be another minority government because I will not have to kowtow to the partisan pressures of the next governing Prime Minister and therefore will be able to represent the interests of the residents of Don Valley North WITHOUT the CENSURE the two heritage parties have demonstrated.

A Chartered Industrial Designer and Ergonomist, I have 33 years of experience collaborating on domestic and international product development ventures in the telecommunications, defense, health care and consumer product industries in Canada, the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

My success in representing the needs and concerns of consumers is verified through a portfolio of 27 granted patents and 34 design awards.

I am asking the residents of Don Valley North to trust and allow me to serve THEIR collective needs and concerns in a similar productive fashion.

A proven leader in design, in sport, in education and as a community volunteer, I have lived in Don Valley North for 38 years; from ‘67-‘89, and again from 2006 to present day.

I have seen MY riding grow from a sleepy, safe neighbourhood that knew no tragedy, to an overcrowded, overtaxed, under-serviced and unsafe one.

Municipal infrastructure does not support the expanding population.
Appropriate healthcare is difficult to secure when needed and often inadequate.
Foreign investment in the housing market has put home ownership out of reach for the average tax paying Canadian.

Systemic racism and gun crime is on the rise.

A vote for Jay Sobel is a vote for:

* Parliamentary Governance

* A Safe, Secure and Sovereign Canada

* Respect for Charter Rights and Freedoms

* Measures to Combat Systemic Racism and Gun Crime

* Improved Access to Healthcare

* Affordable Housing

* Secure Telecommunications Networks with Affordable Broadband Internet Access.

It is a privilege to be a Canadian.
Our national sovereignty is at stake during this election.
Do you want to be governed by the global policies of corrupt United Nations member states, or will you vote to enshrine democracy and put Canada and Canadians first?

Let me serve your needs and concerns.

Vote for Jay Sobel in Don Valley North.
