Biography

Indira arrived in Canada with her mom and sister when she was four years old to join her father, who came a few years earlier. They were immediately embraced by their neighbors and their new community. Although she could not speak English when she arrived it didn’t stop her from embracing the new community that very much helped shape who she is today.

Indira has over 30 years of work experience in a variety of sectors — including aerospace, automotive, banking and finance, housing, robotics, and technology. As a professional project manager, she manages multi-disciplinary teams to successfully deliver digital, technology and transformation programs on-time and on-budget. Her clients include top Canadian firms such as CIBC, PwC, University of Toronto, Mattamy Homes, Airbus, ABB, Orion Bus Industries, Origin and Skyservice.

Indira is involved in a number of community causes, including Habitat for Women, Haven on the Queensway, and Toronto Little Free Pantries Project. She is a strong advocate for public safety, elimination of human trafficking and supporting victims of abuse.

She is running to be your next MP for Etobicoke-Lakeshore because this election will shape our children’s future. It’s too important to sit on the sidelines.
